Jefferson Parish Senior Expo Set for March 29th

The Jefferson Parish 2018 Senior Exposition for senior citizens will be held Thursday, March 29th, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Pontchartrain Center located at 4545 Williams Boulevard in Kenner.  The theme is “The Groovy 1960’s” so come dressed in your favorite 60’s costume.  There will be a Costume Contest with prizes.  No registration is needed.  Admission is free and open to the public.  Lunch will be served. 


The purpose of the exposition is to provide vital informative health and welfare initiatives for Jefferson Parish senior residents with the goal of increasing longevity and improving quality of life.  Seniors will be able to talk directly to the experts about health promotion opportunities, disease and injury prevention and health issues or concerns. 


The Senior Expo, hosted by Jefferson Parish, the Jefferson Council on Aging and LifeStyles 55+ will feature exhibitors introducing new products as well as a variety of free health screenings.
